Join the CHR Worship Team

When you step onto the platform and into ministry, you are viewed as a person of leadership by the congregation. This is why we ensure that everyone stepping into this role is completely equipped.

To be a member of the CHR Worship Team, you must meet the following requirements:
● Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
● Be walking out a lifestyle consistent with a believer
● Have a commitment to growing yourself and others in the knowledge of Christ
o Colossians 1:28 – “We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.”
● Attend “Welcome to Church”
● Be a member of CHR
● Complete our Foundations Class within one year of joining the team (Song leaders)
● Be at least 16 years old
● Have a heart for connection within CHR:
o Commit to Connect Groups, attend Men’/Women’s events, etc.
● Be in agreement with the following:
o Not living with your significant other unless you’re married
o Not engaging in premarital sex
o Abstaining from public intoxication
● Be able to memorize lyrics and music, lead-sheets and music stands are not allowed.
● Be able to play with a Click track.
● Be okay with a "No" or a "Not Yet". All applicants are subject to Pastoral Approval.
