CHR  KIDS
K-2nd &
 3rd-5th

Here at CHR, we offer our K-5th Graders an energy-filled, multimedia-driven experience that teaches our kids the timeless truths of the Bible in a safe and fun environment. To better support our kids, we've divided our K–5th graders into two groups:
K–2nd and 3rd–5th.

This allows us to accommodate the wide range of developmental stages and learning needs, promote a more peaceful and focused environment, and provide age-appropriate lessons in
a more engaging and personalized way.

CHR KIDS Director

Hannah Mogk

As the oldest child of Pastors Joel & Sarah Brown, Hannah Mogk has been involved in CHR's story since the very beginning. Having been a "PK" since 2005 when her parents joined the Staff of Keypoint Church in Bentonville, Arkansas - Hannah has been in the "church world" her entire life.

Under the leadership of Sarah Brown, who was the Children's Pastor at Keypoint, Hannah led and taught classrooms of twenty " three and four year-olds" beginning at the age of 12 and continuing until the age of 15, when the Brown family moved to Hampton Roads to launch CHR.

Hannah was hired by CHR - July of 2022 - to be our Video Production Director and to continue being in the role of Worship Director. A role she has been serving in since 2016.

Hannah married Adam Mogk in April of 2023 & they enjoy serving CHR together in their various roles.

As a "PK", Hannah has had a close relationship with Jesus and her local church her entire life. While the church is not perfect and Hannah is not perfect - she loves to serve the people God has placed in front of her. After all, Jesus is coming back soon and we should be busy reaching the lost and hurting!

It is vitally important for our children to grow up hearing about Jesus Sunday mornings are not "babysitting" but they are an opportunity for the church family to share Jesus with the kids they are supervising through lessons, worship and crafts.
